Faces - Masks
Faces & Masks – Contemporary Sculptures in Metal Lace
The Faces & Masks collection explores human identity and the many faces of the soul. Made in metal lace, steel, and bronze, these sculptures play with solid and void, letting light through and suggesting emotions sometimes hidden, sometimes revealed.
Each face becomes a symbol, each mask an invitation to reflection. Far from a simple realistic portrayal, these works question memory, presence, and the role of masks in our society and collective imagination. The openwork metal gives each piece an airy and poetic dimension, turning the face or mask into a true visual and emotional experience.
Expression and symbolism through openwork metal
In this collection, I reinvent the face and mask as artistic and meditative objects. The sculptures reveal essential outlines, allow space to breathe, and invite the viewer to project their own interpretations. Each work is hand-shaped in my workshop, making each face and mask a unique piece.
These contemporary sculptures find their place in private collections, exhibitions, or spaces dedicated to contemporary art, offering a strong and poetic presence.
