Titled \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan\u003e\u003cem\u003eAn Exchange\u003c\/em\u003e\u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan\u003e, this creation combines steel, bronze, and the radiance of 24-carat gold leaf in a composition where the material becomes a vehicle for emotion.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003ch2\u003e\u003cspan\u003eA metal lacework sculpture between strength and fragility\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/h2\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan\u003eTo create \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan\u003e\u003cem\u003eAn Exchange\u003c\/em\u003e\u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan\u003e, I chose to depict two hands coming together to form the shape of a heart. This simple and universal gesture evokes connection, consideration for others, and the possibility of creating something together. The hands do not quite touch at the center: this preserved space gives the composition room to breathe and suggests that exchange is a living movement based on the relationship between two presences.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan\u003eI created this sculpture using metal lacework, a technique that allows me to transform steel and bronze into an openwork, irregular, organic material. The openings, reliefs, and rough textures create an almost living surface. The metal retains its strength and density, but its appearance becomes surprisingly light and airy. Its subject evokes love, but also friendship, solidarity, transmission, and all the relationships built through sharing. Everyone can recognize a personal story in it.
