Abstraction 57-25: The breath of organic matter
With "Abstraction 57-25," I wanted to give free rein to the fluidity of molten metal to create a purely organic form. This sculpture does not seek to imitate reality but to capture the energy of life in its rawest and most airy form. It is a work that seems animated by an inner breath, where the steel and bronze lace unfolds in natural curves, evoking in turn cellular structures, precious bark, or invisible currents.
The dripping technique allows total freedom here: the metal is woven in midair, creating a metallic mesh that plays with light and cast shadows. The absence of a defined shape invites the viewer on an imaginary journey, where every angle reveals a new perspective. This piece from the Intimate range is a celebration of transformed material, a perfect balance between the industrial strength of steel and the poetic delicacy of fine craftsmanship.

FAQ - Frequently Asked Questions
What does this abstract form represent? The organic abstraction invites personal interpretation. It evokes the cycles of nature and the growth of living things. It is designed to bring a calming and intriguing presence, whose meaning evolves depending on the lighting and each viewer’s perspective.
How is this organic lace made? It is sculpted by manual fusion (dripping) of drops of steel and bronze at very high temperature. Without a mold or preexisting structure, the shape is born from the artist’s gesture, depositing the metal point by point to create this unique mesh.
Is this a unique piece? Yes, absolutely. The drip fusion creation process ensures that no two pieces can be identical. "Abstraction 57-25" is an original signed creation, capturing a precise moment of creation.
What metals make up the sculpture? The work mainly uses steel for its strength and structure, enriched with touches of bronze that bring golden hues and a depth of texture to the lacework.
How to care for this abstract sculpture? The steel and bronze are protected by a high-quality professional varnish. For maintenance, occasional dusting with a soft brush is enough to preserve the transparency and shine of the metals.
