Discover a metal female bust wall sculpture where cracks become lines of beauty and light.

A female bust sculpted in metal lace

With L’alchemy of Cracks, I offer a new interpretation of the Pavarti series. This female bust takes shape in steel lace with irregular, openwork lines, giving the sculpture a character that is both powerful and delicate. The material seems to fragment and then reassemble, revealing a distinctive silhouette rich in relief and detail.

I chose to highlight certain lines with gold metal leaf. These luminous arabesques cross the dark steel surface and create a contrast that catches the eye. The sculpture thus plays with light, textures, and transparencies.

The beauty of imperfections inspired by kintsugi

This work is inspired by Japanese kintsugi, an art that enhances cracks rather than hiding them. I wanted to revisit this idea to evoke the trials, experiences, and transformations that shape each personality.

With L’alchemy of Cracks, I celebrate the beauty of imperfections and our ability to turn our vulnerabilities into strength. This contemporary wall sculpture will naturally find its place in an interior and bring a distinctive artistic presence to your decor.
