At the Heart of Time – Metal Heart Wall Sculpture

At the Heart of Time – A wall sculpture where feelings transcend the ages

Some things change over time, but the deepest feelings remain. This idea inspired At the Heart of Time, a wall sculpture about emotional memory and the enduring nature of love.

I created this work in steel metal lace, shaping the material to create a frame with irregular contours, like fragments of an antique ornament crafted over the years. At the center, a heart covered in gold metal leaf catches the eye and contrasts with the depth of the steel.

I love this dialogue between raw material and light, between the frame's abundant reliefs and the simplicity of the symbol. Every detail evokes the passage of time, the memories that remain, and the bonds that shape us.

At the Heart of Time is a unique wall sculpture, an invitation to keep close what truly matters: the emotions, memories, and feelings that endure through the years.

Part of my Intimate Sculpturesand my Wall Sculptures and heart collections, At the Heart of Time will naturally find its place in a living room, an entryway, or a living space.
