This sculpture takes us back to the earliest representations of humanity, evoking Cycladic idols or ancient totems through its protective verticality and clean lines. It draws its strength from the collective unconscious but firmly belongs to our time through its bold fragmentation into two distinct glass blocks. By dividing the body this way, I question our perception of unity and transform this imaginary cult object into an icon of our era. Its presence commands respectful silence and turns the space into a place of deep contemplation, fitting equally well in a raw stone setting or a minimalist interior where it reveals its full symbolic power.

The originality of this idol lies in the dialogue between the millennia-old pâte de verre and modern steel lace. The pâte de verre brings an organic depth and unique internal luminosity, playing on the contrast between celestial blue and earthy brown to symbolize the balance of being. My drop-by-drop fusion technique sets these precious blocks, creating a nervous mesh that connects the elements without suffocating them and lets light pass through the material.
