"With Pavarti Belle, I wanted to sculpt the obvious: a feminine silhouette where every drop of molten metal highlights the grace of a curve, capturing a serene beauty that seems to float in the air."
The harmony of the body: a celebration of the line
In Pavarti Belle, the shaping work focuses on the perfect balance between arch and surrender. Unlike more tormented or dynamic pieces, this sculpture embodies a still fullness. It represents the female body as a landscape of softness, where the eye glides over the metal lace with the same fluidity as over a light fabric.
It is an ode to the "Belle" in the classical sense: a just proportion, a presence that needs no artifice to shine. Circling around the work, one discovers a harmony of volumes that subtly changes, offering a feeling of peace and stability. It is not a representation of the woman, it is a materialization of elegance.
Metal lace: a drape of light
The drop-by-drop fusion technique here takes on the appearance of haute couture lace. The openwork mesh of steel and bronze creates a play of transparency that dresses the void. The material does not hide the body, it reveals it in small touches, like a veil of light laid on the skin.
The steel structures the silhouette with finesse, while the bronze deposits golden reflections on the reliefs, bringing a lively warmth to the work. Thanks to this airy structure, the sculpture interacts with its environment: it lets light through, casts delicate shadows, and seems to naturally blend with the light in your interior. Pavarti Belle is a work where the strength of metal fades before the delicacy of the subject.

Learn more about the sculpture « Pavarti Belle »
What is the artistic intention of « Pavarti Belle »? The intention is to celebrate the aesthetic beauty and harmony of the female body. It is a work that favors serenity and balance of forms to create a calming presence in the space.
How is the bronze integrated with the steel? The bronze is fused over the steel during the drop-by-drop creation process. It is applied strategically on areas of light (shoulders, hips, curves) to give depth and a precious glow to the sculpture.
Is the metal lace fragile? Despite its visually light and openwork appearance, the sculpture is extremely sturdy. Steel and bronze are durable materials. The fusion technique ensures strong structural cohesion while maintaining great aesthetic finesse.
Where should this sculpture be placed to highlight it? It is especially suited to a clean support (console, pedestal) where it can be admired from 360°. Soft lighting will emphasize the bronze’s shine and create beautiful shadow plays on surrounding surfaces.
Is this an original and unique work? Yes, each sculpture is handmade in my studio. The pattern formed by the drops of metal cannot be reproduced twice identically. It is signed and delivered with its certificate of authenticity.
