"With Pavarti Rose, I wanted to sculpt a Haute Couture silhouette where the pure black and white graphics unfold on the body: a play of chrome spots on a steel lace, bold and elegant like a runway dress."
Graphic elegance: the body as a runway
In Pavarti Rose, the feminine sculpture becomes a field of visual experimentation. Inspired by the aesthetics of great fashion designers, this work plays on an iconic pattern: the spotted contrast, reminiscent of a dalmatian's coat or the bold prints of the 60s. The silhouette is no longer just a shape; it is a garment of light.
The curve and line of the bust are crafted to evoke the posture of a model under the spotlight. It is a piece that celebrates fashion in its most sculptural form: a structure that enhances the body while imposing its own graphic character. It brings a touch of modern sophistication and a hint of extravagance to any interior.
Steel and chrome: the sculptor’s "black and white"
The marriage of dark steel and sparkling chrome replaces color here. The metal lace, created by drop-by-drop fusion, forms a textured, matte base that absorbs shadow, while the chrome highlights punctuate the body with mirror-like touches. This dialogue creates a constant visual vibration, as if the sculpture changes outfit depending on the angle of the light.
Chrome is not just an ornament here; it is a punctuation. It highlights the curve of a breast or the line of a hip with surgical precision. This "dalmatian mesh" plays with reflections from the surrounding space, integrating the colors of your interior into its chrome spots. Pavarti Rose is a work of absolute contrast, where the raw power of the workshop meets the luxury of adornment.

Learn more about the sculpture "Pavarti Rose"
Where does the name "Pavarti Rose" come from? The name is part of the Pavarti collection, dedicated to the female body. The addition of "Rose" (or the choice of a floral/feminine name) highlights the delicacy of the silhouette despite the rigor of the industrial materials used.
Why this contrast between steel and chrome? The idea is to create a very graphic "black and white" effect. Steel represents the dark, deep structure, while chrome brings an intense shine that recalls the luxury and finishes of Haute Couture.
How is the "spotted" effect on the metal achieved? This effect is the result of meticulous fusion work. After structuring the body in steel lace, I apply drops of chrome in targeted areas to create this organic and rhythmic pattern, unique to each piece.
Is the sculpture suitable for a modern interior? Perfectly. Its two-tone aspect and chrome reflections make it a choice piece for contemporary, minimalist, or "industrial chic" interiors. It pairs very well with glass, leather, and lacquered wood.
Is this a unique piece? Yes, absolutely. The placement of the chrome "spots" and the mesh of the steel lace are done freehand. Each sculpture has its own visual rhythm, signed by the artist and accompanied by its certificate of authenticity.
