Bodies – Life-size contemporary sculptures in metal lace

The life-size body sculptures explore human presence through a refined and sensitive sculptural language. Made in metal lace, blending steel and bronze, these works shape the body without ever enclosing it in mass. The transparency of the material reveals emptiness, light, and space, essential elements of the composition.

At human scale, these sculptures establish a direct face-to-face with the viewer. The body becomes an open structure, fragile yet strong, where each line expresses the artist’s gesture. These contemporary works question identity, memory, and the body’s place in space, inviting an experience both physical and inward.

The human body as a space of perception

In this collection, I do not seek faithful reproduction of the body, but its sensitive presence. The metal lace allows suggesting the form while letting the gaze flow, creating a tension between appearance and disappearance. The openwork body seems almost to breathe with the space around it.

Each life-size body sculpture is a unique work, hand-shaped in my workshop. These pieces naturally find their place in exhibition venues, public spaces, or private collections, where they engage in dialogue with architecture and light.
